COUNT ROOM CLERK-FULL TIME-SHIFT START 4 AM
This position requires a person to be in at 4:00 AM.  Only serious applicants please.Responsible for actively participating in the Slot drop,counting and verifying all gaming revenue;  Perform the collection and count of soft drop for slot machines with the focus on accuracy; Accurately count slot drop and reconcile paperwork to the system reports for cash and gaming voucher transactions; Report any discrepancies to the Income Audit Department; Responsible for operating cash counting equipment; Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule; Min. 18 yrs. of age; HS Diploma/GED required; Previous cash handling experience preferred; Part- time hours;  Adept with mechanical devices preferred. Warehouse Clerk
Position Overview:The Receiving Clerk ensures that all requisitions are completed as prescribed from Mount Airy Casino Resort’s specifications while following procedures and requirements; Keeps the storeroom/warehouse neat, clean and organized at all times; Reports back to supervisor/manager proper par levels of all products stored while keeping with Internal Control Standards and company goals & objectives.Essential Job Functions:Fill and issue general requisitions for the authorized outlets so all stock will be complete at each outlet and advises supervisor of items that are low or out of stock so that they can be reordered. Posting shortages from requisitions. Keep track of all requisitions and orders. Report any unfilled requisitions as to what item and how much to the Warehouse Supervisor. All boxes are to be stored with the label showing so that dates can be checked. Damaged goods should be documented accordingly. Maintain regular sanitation standards & cleanliness of all General areas within the Warehouse storerooms.Monitor and ensure compliance with all Mount Airy Casino Resort storeroom- operating procedures.Checks each item on the invoice against the applicable Mount Airy Casino Resort document, weighing, counting verifying prices on each item and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of delivery.Maintain orderly upkeep of goods stored on shelves.. All crates are to be stored with the labels showing so that dates can be checked. All cases are to be stored together. ADMINISTRATION
IT Technician Level 1
Position Overview:The Technician Level 1 position is responsible for operating the company’s computer systems and providing first level PC/Network support.  Computer operations would include ensuring all scheduled work is processed successfully during the assigned shift, troubleshooting any problems that may arise and correcting or, when necessary ensure escalation to the proper level within the department.  PC/Network support would include troubleshooting any network or server issue that may arise and escalate as needed and, providing PC users support with any issues they experience.  Essential Job Functions:·         Ensuring all scheduled work on all company servers is completed in a timely manner. ·         Monitoring all jobs to ensure proper run status and, validate successful completion.·         Monitoring all computers, servers and networks to ensure proper operational conditions.·         Provide support to end-users with any workstation or printer issue.·         Troubleshoot device problems and correct as needed.  This would include replacing failing devices and ensuring proper configuration is maintained.  ·         Other duties as assigned.  Essential Requirements:·         Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.·         Minimum one (1) year computer operations or network support experience.·         Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the employees throughout all levels of the Mount Airy Resort Casino.   ADA Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. FOOD & BEVERAGE
BANQUET SERVER
JOB OVERVIEW: This is an on-call position, which provides fast and courteous service of food and beverages to guests and ensures quality of food and beverage presentation per established standards.  All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Mount Airy Casino Resort’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. KEY DUTIES: Promptly greets guest at assigned tables and take beverage order. Clear away soiled dishes on an ongoing basis and replace flatware as needed. Returns to each assigned table periodically to ascertain whether additional items are desired. Requires having a basic knowledge composition of food and beverage menu items, daily specials and proper placing procedures. Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines. Prepare beverages for service to guests and present food according to established health and presentation standards. Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner.  Clean and/or wipe down tables and resets table after guest leaves table. Perform side-work, and any other opening or closing duties as required.  Ensure that wait staff stations are clean and maintained throughout shift. Alert Outlet Management of any service and/or safety issues. Make appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.     May assist with other duties as assigned.   Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum:  Basic reading and writing; Food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations; high school diploma or its equivalency required. This job requires ability to perform the following: Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Moving about the Banquet area and the kitchen. Handling objects; plates, trays, glasses, etc. Bending, stooping, and kneeling.   Other: Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, wait staff, cooks, and supervisor. Barback-Deep Cleaning-Overnight
Job Summary:            The Beverage Barback will provide friendly, excellent service to every customer as well as keep the beverage area clean and stocked at all times.     All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Mount Airy Casino Resort’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Obtain supplies and equipment for each beverage station and place fruits, glasses and silverware in their respective places. Beverage Shift Manager
  Job Summary: The Beverage Shift Manager is responsible for all Beverage operations for their shift.  Monitor and ensure quality and efficiency of all aspects of the beverage department and property.  All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Mount Airy Casino Resort’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Scheduling Familiarize yourself with daily pit sheets.Check with Supervisors as to schedule changes, call offs, etc.Be fully aware of all decisions made by the other Managers and Supervisors in regards to staffing.Check daily staff sheets and schedules.Ensure check in is done consistently and correctly. Note all switches, and replacements for callouts.Check all Request Time Off’s (RTO’s), vacations, and personal days on sheets. Inventory Check all outlets for possible shortages of liquor, wine, beer, dry goods, and glassware.Report all shortages to the Manager.Check all requisitions for validity and accuracy.Check all par levels and report any discrepancies to the Manager.Ensure consistency and quality of products served and glassware used.Shall be responsible for inventory monthly and as needed.  Payroll/Attendance Extend payroll at the end of the shift.Ensure all payroll is signed off and payroll sheets ready for the next shift.Complete attendance charts.Ensure all early outs, sickness, etc. are adjusted at the end of the shift.Ensure all employees working have signed in.Any payroll discrepancies are documented completely and turned over to the department Manager for investigation.All employees are required to sign out themselves.Employee Relations Employees are treated fairly, equally and consistently.Ensure all progressive discipline is handled professionally and in a timely fashion.Any discipline to be issued that day is given to the Manager and to be checked for consistency of department’s rules and regulations.  Any events that need investigation should be well documented and turned over to the Beverage Manager for continued investigation.  A report must be done that day before the Beverage Shift Manager leaves for the day. Ensure that surveys of casino floor are completedEnsure that hosts or supervisors check each outlet for open checks.Pass onto next supervisor any follow-up that you are unable to complete.Read all log books at the beginning of your shift.  Log any pertinent information at the end of your shift. job summary: The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the administration and daily operations of the Food and Beverage department.  The Director of Food and Beverage will perform all duties within the guidelines of the Mount Airy Casino Resort’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.   Essential Functions and Responsibilities: ·         Responsible for directing and supervising Executive Chef, Banquet Manager, Day/Night Life Manager, Food and Beverage Outlets Manager, Beverage Manager,  Office Administrator and as well as all Food and Beverage employees. ·         Ability to issue complimentaries in accordance with the approved comp matrix. ·         Recommends restaurant opening and closing times, new venue ideas and staffing levels. ·         Monitor the budget to ensure that the department runs efficiently in order to achieve established fiscal and performance goals. ·         Conduct regular cover count, check average, food and beverage costs and projection analysis to maximize profitability. ·         Assist in the development and implementation of the Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures.  Develop departmental procedure manuals and ensure proper documentation and storage of all relevant materials. ·         Responsible for the development and implementation of training programs for all areas of the Food and Beverage department. ·         Oversee effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, terminations and other personnel related issues. National Sales Manager
Position Overview: The National Sales Manager is responsible for all external and internal special events.   All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Mount Airy Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control standards and Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations.    Essential Job Functions: Develop and maintain national account base of corporations that can produce revenue beneficial to the hotel and convention center. Valet Dispatch-Part Time-Saturday and Sunday
Responsible for the accurate data entry from valet tickets, receiving and settlement of guest transactions and dispatching of valet tickets for retrieval of vehicles, ensuring superior service to all patrons and guests of the Hotel/Casino; Promotes positive guest, employee and public relations at all times; Must be a min. 18 yrs. of age or older; High School Diploma or equivalent required; Possess excellent customer service and cash handling skills, organizational skills a must; Flexible to work any scheduled shifts and/or days, including weekends and holidays; Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Non- Gaming License as required by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

SECURITY/SURVEILLANCE
Security Officer
VIP -  Must be a min. of 21 years old... Responsible for ensuring the safety of the Casino patrons, Hotel guests, employees of the Company and to protect the assets and property of the company; Ensures compliance with all Federal and State Laws and the Rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board; Responds immediately to all incidents, illegal activities or any other emergency situations; Continually monitors their assigned area for safety hazards that could endanger patrons, guests or employees.  Starting rate of pay is $10.00 per hour.   HS Diploma-GED required; Minimum one (1) year work experience.  Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required with occasional travel; Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening; Must be approved for and maintain a PA Gaming License.
Surveillance Agent
Responsible for operating all surveillance computer equipment; Monitors all areas of the property and closely observes a target game, staff member or customer; Reports improper activity or disturbances to supervisor or security team for further investigation; Ensures compliance with gaming requirements set by state gaming authority and local law enforcement; Safeguards the assets of the organization; Assists the Surveillance Shift Manager in organizing routine random surveillances as required; Works closely with the Security Department to prevent the loss or damage of company assets; HS Diploma/GED required; Minimum two (2) years related experience preferred; Performs a variety of tasks as determined by the Surveillance Shift Manager; Minimum  21 years of age; Must maintain a valid PA Gaming License. Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

SLOT OPERATIONS
Lead Slot Attendant
Position Overview: The Lead Slot Attendant is responsible to lead, guide and support the Slot Attendants on their assigned shift while ensuring that the Slot Attendants are providing high levels of customer service. All duties are to be performed according to the policies and procedures of the Mount Airy Casino Resort and the regulations of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Essential Job Functions: Works in conjunction with the Slot Shift Manager in the guidance of personnel and efficient operation of the slot floor during their assigned shift. Monitor employee activities and take appropriate actions in support of efficient operations.Assists in the development and implementation of Slot Operations Policies and Procedures.  Responsible for the training of Slot Operations staff.  Responsible that all employees have the knowledge required to perform their duties at an acceptable level.Must know and enforce all policies and procedures of the Slot Operations department.Settle all customer disputes not readily resolved by subordinates.Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.  Maintains a professional work environment with Shift Managers and staff.Shall act as signatory and verifier on jackpots as detailed the internal controls.Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.Attends all necessary meetings.Assists in other projects as directed.Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Slot Tech Supervisor
  Position Overview: The Slot Technician Supervisor will provide training, technical direction and guidance to co-workers in installing, servicing and adjusting of slot machines and slot system.   All duties are to be performed according to the policies and procedures of the Mount Airy Casino Resort and the regulations of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.   Essential Job Functions: Leads staff in safeguarding and maintaining the slot machines.Provides technical direction to co-workers with regards to troubleshooting of slot equipment.Prepares requisitions for parts and equipment.Conducts daily inspections of machines and equipment.Coordinates movements, modifications of machines as directed.Trains co-workers to repair, adjust, install, option and setup slot machines as well as the slot monitoring system.Responsible for ordering and maintaining all necessary supplies for slot repair and maintenance.Assigns duties to slot technical staff for preventive maintenance and machine inspections as directed.Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.  Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.Must be able to install and repair the ACSC slot system.Attends all necessary meetings.        Assist in other projects as directedMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Experienced and or Certified Table Games Dealers
(Mt Airy has positions open for Dealers with experience and/or Dealers with Certified Training from an accredited gaming school. All serious applicants are welcome to apply.  The process will involve an interview and table game audition. These positions are "On Call-Part time." )Responsible for the protection and integrity of the  games being dealt; Conducts the games in accordance with MACR policies and procedures and regulations of PGCB; Handling player transactions and notifying Floor Supervisor or Pit Manager of any irregularities; Responsible for maintaining a professional, friendly and courteous atmosphere providing the guest with a pleasant gaming experience; Excellent customer service and communication skills required. One (1) year experience as a casino dealer within the last five (5) years and certified in two (2) core games (Craps, Blackjack, Roulette and/or Baccarat) required.  Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from the PGCB. Mount Airy Casino Resort is now accepting applications for students interested in attending Mount Airy Casino Resort's Blackjack Dealer School.  The dates for the  five week course are TBD. Mount Airy Casino Resort currently has the below class options:Day Class: Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM  Evening Class: Monday - Thursday 8:00 PM – 1:00 AM.   All students that successfully complete the course and pass an audition will receive preferential hiring consideration.  Applicants must be available for the entire five (5) week course and be able to obtain a PGCB license. THIS CLASS IS FREE, THERE WILL BE NO TUITION FEE CHARGED. All applicants will be reviewed and you will be contacted about next steps if considered.
